Fundraising With Custom Lollipops

Doing a lollipop fundraiser is a fun way for school clubs and other small groups to raise funds. The approach is very similar to other types of fundraising candy, but with a product with lower price point and widespread appeal.

Everyone loves a lollipop, so you can target sales to adults and teens as well as younger children. Most brands retail for $0.50 each and cost roughly half that amount when purchased by the case.

To raise a lot of money, you’ll need volume sales and that’s where today’s eye-catching designs and mouthwatering flavors come in.

Lollipop flavors and shapes

Fundraising lollipops are available in a wide range of flavors and shapes. Popular favorites include root beer, watermelon, strawberry kiwi, cherry cola, tangerine, chocolate, and green apple.

In addition to dozens of wild flavors, lollipops are also available in a wide array of shapes. New designs include a treble clef (musical note), heart, star, pumpkin, bunny, or bear shapes.

For Valentine’s Day, there are lip-shaped lollipops in both sweet and sour flavors. These are available in solid colors like pink and red or you can get swirl or rainbow designs that add a little extra pizzazz.

There are also sport designs such as football, baseball, soccer, and basketball. These are great for sports teams to sell or to be sold at related sporting events and games.

Fundraising tips

With candy sales, it’s all about location sales. Setup a sales table in high-traffic areas and have your selections out on display. Use signs and posters explaining your fundraiser and giving prices.

Having an attention grabbing slogan helps. For Valentines Day, try something like “Kiss our Lips” to promote your lip-shaped suckers. For a medical cause fundraiser, try “Help Us Lick Cancer” or something similar.

The whole idea is to be a little outrageous and put approaching people in the mood to stop and buy, instead of walk on by.

You can also get permission from retail locations to sell outside grocery stores, drug stores, and other mass merchants. That way your fundraising reaches well beyond the usual suspects of students, family, and friends.

Summary

Gourmet lollipops are a popular fundraising candy that come in a wide variety of shapes and flavors. With sports themed designs as well as special holiday shapes, you can really target your audience with these irresistible goodies.

Focus your efforts on high-traffic locations and spice up your sales table with fun signs and slogans. Clearly explain why you’re raising funds and create an attractive display to show off your merchandise.

One final note of caution: These offerings are so mouthwatering that you’ll have to avoid the temptation to eat up all the profits from your lollipop fundraiser!

  • LNBS For All Satellites

Having the right LNB for the right Satellite dish is extremely important. There are two kinds of LNBS in the market. One is called a Circular LNB and the other is called Linear LNB. Please be aware that a circular feed LNB will not recognize a satellite that needs a linear feed LNB. So, when it becomes time to find the right satellite, you should check to see which LNB is the one you are after. Otherwise, can spend an eternity looking the signal with no success at all.

In Canada, you have ExpressVu and Star Choice Satellites. On one side, ExpressVu uses a Circular Feed LNB. While Star Choice uses a Linear Feed LNB.

In U.S.A, you have DirecTV and Dish Network. Both of these systems use same type of LNB as ExpressVu, Circular Feed LNB. As always there are exceptions to the rule. For Instance, Echo Star 121W, requires a Linear LNB. This satellite is part of Dish Network systems. It provides you ethnical programming such as Arabic, Hindi and Chinese languages.

So, the most common question to ask is: Is Star Choice the only satellite uses Linear LNB? The answer is obviously NO. Linear feed LNBs are used for TRUE Free to Air Satellites. For instance, you get Galaxy 25 or formerly known as IA5 or Intel Sat 5. In there, you get to watch lots of FREE ethnical channels. Another popular satellite is Galaxy 10R. This satellite has US networks and a few Spanish Channels.

It is my hope that after reading this article, you get a grasp why is important to know which satellite lnb you need before you do an installation.
